About RFID Protection

Contactless cards and cards with a  symbol use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology. RFID works by transmitting information between a card (which contains a chip) and a reader. 

RFID blocking wallets help prevent RFID skimming, which occurs when someone reads, transmits and duplicates information from your IDs or credit cards using a scanner.
